Eisenmann Exhaust for the Porsche Panamera

Publishsed by Cole Kelly on September 7th, 2010 | Posted in Product Info | (0) comments | RSS Feed Click for RSS Feed| Q&A - Ask a Pro!

The Porsche Panamera shocked the world with its release. The Panamera set the bar as to what a performance sedan should be. Porsche elected to change it up from the typical light weight, rear engine sports car and design a front engine luxury sedan with comparable performance to the companies flagship 911.

But like every other car on the market, regulations and guidelines force manufactures to utilize power robbing technology such as restrictive exhaust systems that also tarnish the sound. Eisenmann has stepped up to release a muffler system designed to improve performance and enhance the incredible sound of the Porsche Panamera S and Turbo models.

Like all Eisenmann Performance systems, the Panamera exhaust is hand assembled using a blend of new and old school manufacturing techniques to ensure each product exceeds the customers expectations. Hyundai Genesis 2.0T R Spec Fitted with Agency Power Exhaust

Publishsed by Cole Kelly on September 7th, 2010 | Posted in Client Cars | (0) comments | RSS Feed Click for RSS Feed| Q&A - Ask a Pro!

Once the Hyundai Genesis hit the market, Agency Power brought in a dealer car to design and test their exhaust on. Because it was a dealer car, long term testing was out of our hands. This white 2.0 Turbo R-Spec has come to the rescue. The car ran a baseline test on the Vivid Racing Mustang II AWD Dyno. The Agency Power exhaust was installed and test drove before heading back onto the dyno where it gained +10hp and +4tq.

The Agency Power exhaust is a full 3″ diameter and made using 304 Stainless Steel. The entire system is finished with a mirror polish.  This particular install included the Titanium Tips, but Agency Power also offers a rolled stainless option.  This install included the Agency Power cat delete resonator designed to improve the exhausts flow and eliminate the secondary cat.

The owner of the car, Jim, has said the overall sound is superb and performance gains are noticeable. The exhaust system is deep, sporty and without drone.

If you are looking for a new exhaust system for your ride, check out Agency Power’s line of stainless systems. Click Here for the Genesis Exhaust.

Porsche 997 GT3 with Super Flush HRE Wheels Turbo Style

Publishsed by Dan on August 30th, 2010 | Posted in Client Cars | (0) comments | RSS Feed Click for RSS Feed| Q&A - Ask a Pro!

We just outfitted this Porsche 997 GT3 with some HRE 843R wheels, in 20 inch!  The best part, these are 20×9 and 20×12 widebody wheels and they fit this 997 GT3 narrowbody.   The front wheels are always the same, the rear offset is the difference with the narrowbody Carrera and widebody Turbo.  However these offsets are aggressive and give it a flush stance.  These wheels came from our Clearance HRE Wheels Sale.  The 20×9 and 20×12 are wrapped with 245/30/20 in the front and 305/25/20 Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires in the rear.  The 843R is a 3piece wheel and has been superceeded by HRE’s 890 series.  This is definitely a functional wheel for the street to add style, but if you want to be fast on the track, check out HRE Competition wheels.  These are available in both 5×130 and centerlock fitment.  The C93 like on our Project 997TT in 19×8.5 and 19×11 weigh only 19 and 20.5lbs respectively.

Top Performance Magazine Features VR 997TT

The Vivid Racing Porsche 997TT is one of the most insane looking and performing Porsche 997 Turbo’s in the world.  Having proven its 825HP at the Texas Mile with a 206.2mph run, the flat blue car has made its mark in the internet world.  USA magazines have turned into leaflets because of the internet, so to get some international exposure, we turned to our friends at Top Performance Magazine in Dubai.  Working with some of the best performance companies to build our Project 997TT, alot of firsts were done.  Softronic developed a custom ECU tune for our GT3076rs turbos and our sister company Agency Power built a full turbo kit which included a 3inch Y-Pipe with ports for the AEM Water Injection Kit.  The car is actually equipped with the KW Variant 3 coilovers which offer seperate rebound and compression adjustments.  In addition to our Agency Power sway bars and control arms, the ride and handling of this car rivals any GT3.  One of the biggest changes to the car was reducing the rotational weight with the Brembo 2pc rotors and HRE C93 wheels.  The competition wheels saved almost 3lbs per corner in the OEM 19 inch sizes.  Vorsteiner’s aero kit added some flavor with their front and rear bumper and super aggressive wing.  Check out the magazine article scans below and all our Magazine Features Here!

KW Coilover Contest Winner Installs Variant 3 on Acura NSX

Publishsed by Dan on August 25th, 2010 | Posted in Client Cars | (0) comments | RSS Feed Click for RSS Feed| Q&A - Ask a Pro!

Our final winner of the top 3 contestants from our KW Coilover Contest just finished installing his KW Coilovers Variant 3 system on his Acura NSX.  This car is a dedicated weekend racer and consistantly proves itself on the road courses of Arizona.  Coming from Tein springs on the stock shocks, the KW Coilovers was a true transformation for this car.  Check out his full gallery here and read his review.  You can view the KW V3 Acura NSX Coilvoers Here.

KW V3 Review
The Package arrived two days after it was shipped from the KW Depot. Fast shipping always impressed me so at this point I am already ecstatic. Inside the box, I found all four preassembled units well packaged for shipping along with several languages of instructions, and a tool kit for adjustment.

I chose the appropriate language manual and proceeded to read the instructions back to back to ensure I fully understood what I was dealing with. They were straight forward enough and had valuable information regarding optimal height and dampening settings for the initial setup.

I proceeded to remove the 20 year old specimens from my vehicle, which I assure you, is a very labor intensive job. I luckily had some assistance and we were able to remove all four corners in about 2.5 hours with the right leverage tools and an assortment of impact accessories.

After a brief snack and drink break (and a little Top Gear), we went back at it. After reviewing the setup manual again, we preset the heights as designated in the KW plans and reverse installed the KW coil-overs reusing the OEM top hats. We wondered why they didn’t come with new ones but then after a bit of research discovered that some countries require vehicle inspections that would be easiest if nothing aftermarket was on the vehicle. The KW kit did come with a new centering ring for the old top hat which fit superbly.

Reinstallation took about 2 hours and then off for a test drive. Quite honestly, the car felt nearly the same. It rode a slight amount rougher but nowhere near as rough as most coil-overs tend to ride on the street. Took a few turns at speed and it seemed pretty standard. Very quickly realized the front tires were rubbing at this height and resorted to having the fenders rolled to allow proper clearance.

The real test came on August 14th and 15th in which I participated in the UMS Tuning Time Attack Series. I was able to properly thrash the car safely and at the limit. After a few minor adjustments to the sway bars and front damper settings, the car definitely started to come alive and I must say, these coil-overs made a 20 year old car feel fresh out of the box once I had gotten some seat time with them!

A fantastic product and I will be recommending it to all due to its easy of installation and sheer performance on and off the track!

French 996TT Battles Tuned Audi’s and Mitsubishi EVO 6

Publishsed by Dan on August 24th, 2010 | Posted in Client Cars | (0) comments | RSS Feed Click for RSS Feed| Q&A - Ask a Pro!

Our customer Fabien from France sent us over some videos of his built Porsche 996 Turbo racing the streets of France.  The first video is him battling some highly tuned Audi S4’s and RS4’s while the second video he lays into a Mitsubishi EVO 6.  So why is this 996 Turbo so fast?  Well Fabien has geared his car up with the a VR700 Packaged Porsche.  The 6speed Porsche gets its power from some K24/20G turbos.  These are OEM K24 Turbos that have modified exhaust housings to deliver a huge punch at the mid to top end RPM range.  The turbos cannot do it alone though.  With intricate tuning from Softronic, the car is loaded up with Agency Power Porsche goodies.  The car has the 3inch Y-Pipe, Big Mouth TB and Plenum, High Flow Intercoolers, and the carbon fiber Dual Flow Air Intake.  Boost pressure is regulated between shifts with some Diverter Valves and a Silicone F-Hose Kit.   The Clutch Masters Stage 3 clutch puts the big power to the ground while some Denso plugs, 60lb RC Injectors, and a Greddy Boost Controller keep the car safe and dialed in.  The awesome noise as he accelerates through the gears is brought to you by the Agency Power Exhaust System and Headers.  Check out the videos below and view all our Porsche 996TT Power Kits Here.

APR has released some photos of the Ford Mustang Widebody for our viewing pleasure. The kit takes the already angular designed Mustang and turns it into a full on beast. APR enhances the front a rear fenders, side skirts, front and rear bumpers as well as adds in a carbon front lip. The end result is a Mustang that is truly unique and bold. APR took great care to blend the widebody look with the classic American muscle car style of the Modern Ford Mustang.
