What Makes the gramLights 57DR Special?
In the 57DR, the spokes begin from the rim barrel and concaves toward the center part of the wheel, providing the spoke profile priority to rigidness and lightness. The 57DR also adopted exclusive different concave face designs for each rim width. The 57DR is the conventional and straightforward 6-spoke that bucks new wheel trends. It merely stuns with its simplicity. It adopts the TE37’s timeless design, but thanks to Rays Engineering’s casting process, it is a light and strong wheel that’s only a fraction of the TE37’s cost.
This simple yet refined design provides a visual appeal with a concave face design and incorporates the latest flow-form casting technology. The difference in the depth of face designs is available depending on the rim width. This more aggressive look is attained by computer modeling and high-quality manufacturing. These keep the designs unique, fresh, and advanced while keeping the wheel light and built for strength. Each wheel comes with an embossed RAYS logo, an embossed 57 logo, and performance-orientated GramLights valve stems.
Features:
- Rays’ 1-PC RCF Casting Method

RAYS RCF Method
Rays dramatically improve its cast wheels' performance by applying the spinning method for forged wheels to cast rim molding. This is known as the Rays Cast Flow Forming (R.C.F.) method.
The R.C.F. method is designed to increase the strength of cast wheels by creating a tissue similar to what is referred to as fiber flow lines in the cast wheels' structure. Producing cast wheels using this method is just one of the areas in which Rays excels.
JWL+R Spec 1
In the belief that the J.W.L. standards adhered to in Japan are the minimum strength standards that wheel manufacturers must meet, Rays' conducts its practical strength tests that better reflect actual driving conditions. The company requires all of its wheels to meet its in-house standards (JWL+R) and its cast wheels to meet even more rigorous in-house standards (JWL+R SPEC1). Safety is the absolute minimum requirement that Rays must meet, no matter how much it may strive to achieve high performance. The fundamental mission of Rays is to ensure the safety of all drivers that use its wheels.

- Aftermarket wheels are engineered to be lightweight, which is why these see the primary use in motorsports
- A lighter wheel reduces un-sprung weight, resulting in faster acceleration and significantly improved handling
- A bigger wheel allows space for much larger brake rotors and calipers—usually a must when a car is built to race
- A larger wheel is more attractive in design compared to dull stock wheels
