Hello All,
The last couple of days I have been testing the Agency Power Intake on the dyno and have yielded some fantastic results!!!
This intake was a bit more in depth than just putting on a pipe and a hole for the MAF, putting a filter on it and calling it done. The main intake tube was built with fins inside of the pipe to make sure that we kept airflow as laminar as possible. This keeps MAF reading consistent and smooth making tuning a breeze. The MAF piece is CNC’d out of aluminum and then welded on to assure exacting standards in terms of MAF diameter.
The other great thing about this intake is that it is actually built so that it can be run as a short ram intake or can double as a cold air for those seeking some cooler temps. We also couple all of this with a high quality K&N intake to make sure that we achieve as much air flow as possible while still maintaining a great filtering system.
Overall this intake system really worked well. I really liked the heat shield added in for extra heat deflection from the clean fresh air. The car also seemed to like this as well as you can see in the dyno sheet:
2008 is proving to be a great year for great cars. It seems that auto manufacturers are really stepping up there game and making more powerful, cleaner cars. It will be great to see how this car will turn out with some more high quality Agency Power parts.
Stay Tuned,
