Instead of just adding crazy bumpers and wings, they provide function and styling via widening front and front fenders / rear quarters. This enables people to run much wider wheel set ups, plus these fenders accommodate a much beefier tire set up than what was offered from the factory. When a complete kit comes together, it makes any car look extremely aggressive and border line exotic.
3SDM is a fairly new wheel manufacturer who previously focused on cast wheels. Even though the company is young, the people behind the brand have been in the car industry for some time.
