WP Pro has just released this sneak peak of a new 400mm ceramic rotor that they have tested on a Porsche Cayenne. Ceramic rotors are much lighter than conventional steel rotors. Being that it is 2 piece floating, the brake pad wear is much improved and the life of the disc out lasts a standard steel rotor by 50%. They recently finished these 400mm ceramic rotor prototypes. The 400mm diameter is gaining popularity as a upgrade size for many vehicles. WP Pro thought it was necessary to make a rotor in that size that is versatile and can be fitted to many applications, from super cars to race cars. These 400mm rotor assemblies will weight in at 6.2kg/13lbs pe corner!
