Our long time customer Ethan took a road trip down here to Vivid Racing to equip his Porsche 997 Turbo nicely. Coming to us with stock wheels and stock ride height, we added some much needed upgrades. First was a set of KW V3 Coilovers with PASM delete. This is one of our favorite coilovers for the Porsche as well as many other platforms. The coilovers feature special valving and a patented bump stop that acts like a 3rd spring. This means the coilovers ride amazing on the street and when pushed, handle the turns no problem. They are independent rebound and compression. Along with the wheels is this limited set of Advan Wheels by Yokohama. The Advan RZ-DF wheels are a 19×8.5 and a 19×12. The 5×130 1piece wheels are a perfect match for the Porsche. The rear comes in a 50mm offset as pictured. A little conservative but with a 12-15mm H&R spacer they would be nicely poked out.
For the power mods, Ethan went with the VRTuned ecu flash. The OBDII flash done as seen here, is the best upgrade you can do for these cars. Taking the 3.6L twin turbo from 480hp to 615bhp. And that is no problem with the Agency Power race pipes. Coming straight off the turbos, these cat and muffler deletes really give the turbo what it needs. The beefy quad exhaust tip gives the turbo an aggressive howl like no other.
