When it comes to high-performance automotive electronics, there are very few companies in the industry that offer high-quality solutions. One of those companies, AEM Electronics, has released their new 22 channel sensor module which allows you to easily add a CD dash to a carbureted vehicle or expand existing channels from ODBII or other CANbus systems.
This new 22 Channel CAN Sensor Module works by covering analog or digital inputs into an AEMnet CAN bus signal that that be transmitted and understood by an AEM CD dash. This is a super easy way to add a digital dash to a carbureted vehicle and it will also allow users with existing CAN based devices to add more channels to the display for viewing. This sensor module is only compatible with AEM CD dashes, it will run in parallel with 3rd party CAN devices.
For carbureted vehicles, you will be able to monitor your tachometer, fuel level, wheel speed for MPH, and pressure/temp sensors. For EFI vehicles which are using a CAN-based ECU, this will allow you to add more channels to the CD dash without having to purchase multiple CAN devices.
