Although nearly everyone who wants an F250/F350, wants the Powerstroke engine, it’s not always an option. Some of us end up getting the gas variant of the F250 but end up wanting more power down the road. One of the easiest ways to get more horsepower out of your truck is with an aftermarket exhaust. This adds power by letting your engine breath easier. Stainless Works is known for their high-quality exhaust systems, and they’ve just finished up their exhaust components for the 6.2L gasser F250/F350.
This new catback will be available for 2011+ F250 and F250 trucks with a CrewCab or SuperCab. The exhaust will bolt right up to the OEM headers or aftermarket headers. The catback can exhaust in the OEM location behind the passenger side wheel, or you can opt for the “lightning” style exit, which positions the tips in front of the rear passenger wheel. Unlike the OEM system, this exhaust is a true-dual system with an integrated X-pipe instead of a Y-pipe.
Separate from the catback exhaust is new long-tube headers. These headers are available with or without catalytic converters. When combined with the Stainless Works catback, the sound is amazing and the horsepower gains are quite impressive. Be sure to check out the YouTube video below which shows off the sound of this new exhaust!
