To say that the LFA is the best supercar Lexus has created is an understatement. They went above and beyond on every aspect of this car. A few key notes that stood out is the fact they built their own CFRP (carbon fiber reinforced plastic) loom to make the car lighter and stronger. The loom itself is 3D and as it is making the carbon fiber parts or accessories they come out in a three dimensional way so it’s easier to pour the resin in. There is really no need for cast the molds because of this technologically advanced loom. The other notable piece of the LFA is the sound. Here at Vivid, the sound of the car is just as important as what kind of car it is! Lexus took their sound to the next level by working with Yamaha acoustics. Their collaboration not only gave the car the ability to be deafening, but the sound the car creates is more audibly pleasing then your average exhaust. The results are incredible.
If you’re lucky enough to own one of these baby’s, then we have even better news for you! Artisan Spirit is going to debut their first Lexus LFA body kit at SEMA, and this thing is no joke! It takes the already aggressive, futuristic shape, and molds it into something of an alien vessel. The lines are so smooth, but accents are so fierce, that this thing might literally break necks driving around.
If you’re looking for the ultimate supercar package, email sean@vividracing.com, he’ll be able to take care of you. Artisan Spirit ships directly from Japan, so you know you’re getting the most genuine of parts. If you’re ballin’ on a budget, and want the look of an LFA. DAMD came out with a sweet aero kit that transforms your FR-S or BR-Z into a eerily similar looking LFA. Email sales@vividracing.com if you’re interested in this kit.
We can’t wait to see this beast live at SEMA! But until then, here are some preview pics, courtesy of Artisan Spirit.
