At Vivid Racing we have a long standing relationship with many of our premium vendors. When the tuner car scene took off in the late 90’s and early 2000’s, many new companies emerged into the market. A large number of these companies have come and gone, but the ones who have consistently produced quality products have stuck around for good. The Yokohama brand was first established in 1917 with headquarters in Tokyo Japan. They are best known for premium tires for both road and race applications. We have been dealing directly with Yokohama since we first started back in 2001.
Yokohama aftermarket wheels are commonly referred to as an “ADVAN” branded product. Made popular in Japan, the name has origins around the 1960’s. This specific branding brought more of a following for those who are in the aftermarket car scene. Ever since then, the ADVAN name has been a premium sector for JDM Performance wheels. We have sold hundreds of sets of these quality wheels, so it was only natural for us to collaborate with Yokohama. ADVAN GT’s have been a best selling wheel for the GTR platform for years, so we decided to produce some exclusive colors for our GTR customers. So for a limited time we are offering 3 different exclusive colors in ideal fitment for GTR owners. These sizes allow for the best wheel / tire combination and fill up the fender wells on the R35 perfectly. Specs are listed below:
