The Vivid Racing 2011 Mustang GT has been under going some changes. The car comes from the factory with the traditional issues of too much wheel gap and having bland wheels. Our solution was a unique set of aftermarket wheels and quality lowering springs.
We set this Pony up with a set of Gnosis GS1’s from Work Wheels that feature a brushed center and their new bronze lip. From the start, we wanted this Mustang to make a statement; so an aggressive fitting 20×9.5 +32 offset front and 20×11 +52 offset rear were selected. The wheels were then wrapped in 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 rubber to finish off the look.
To bring the ride height down, a set of H&R lowering springs were used. The ride quality has not suffered and the lower stance is nearly perfect. These are just the first steps for the Mustang,. More work, especially in performance, is on the way.
