Ever driven a Lotus Elise before? Well I have, and the only thing I can remember about it is how much of a pain in the ass it is to get in and out of. But all that is really forgotten once you are on the open track taking turns. The lightweight chassis is so nimble its not even funny how it is glued to the pavement. They really are a blast to drive and that is one reason they are super popular as a track vehicle. With any track car, you need the proper safety gear. Harnesses, fire extinquisher, and of course a Tow Hook. Why a tow hook? Other than looking super cool on the car, if you were to spin out into a ditch, gravel pit, or other knarly situation, the last thing you want is the tow truck to hoof some chains around a wheel or bumper and pull.
