AutoTecknic paddle shifters are manufactured from the highest quality dry carbon. Dry carbon fiber is formed by using a pre-preg piece of carbon material that is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed autoclave to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and produces a much lighter version of carbon than the “wet” method. Using an autoclave vacuuming process also results in fewer pinholes and nearly no air pockets in the carbon itself.
Apart from their top-grade material, these paddle shifters are strategically designed to be 40 percent larger than the OEM ones. In addition, their shape was meticulously developed to match the exact contours of the BMW X3M and X4M steering wheel. The perfect fitment delivers comfort and optimal feedback for precise shifts each and every time.
