Located in El Salvador, this customer bought some parts from us on our eBay Store for his #oldschool Toyota AE86. The AE86, a small light rear wheel drive coupe, was released in 1983 and is definitely the inspiration for the latest craze of the Scion FRS and Subaru BRZ cars. The “A” represents the engine that came in the car (4A series). The “E” represents the Corolla (chassis). Finally the “8” represents the fifth generation (E80 series) and “6” represents the variation within this generation. Known in Japan as the Hachi-Roku, this particular car is properly done. Referred to as “his baby”, we were more then happy to show it off to our fans. So if you are AE86 fans, reply with a THUMBS UP! You can view a slew of AE86 parts here.
