A common issue with the 4.0L twin-turbocharged engine is that it is prone to heat soak. This can reduce performance significantly and rips all the fun out of the C63.

To combat heat soak, CSF released their all-aluminum heat exchanger that simply replaces the factory component. The heat exchanger can help eliminate heat soak and reduce IAT (intake air temperature). After installing the CSF heat exchanger, owners noticed a significant increase in performance and noticed the power stays on longer instead of falling off.
The high-quality full aluminum construction improves the cooling rate as the dual-core is 42mm thick. A higher surface area allows for the charged air to cool down quickly before entering the engine. 6mm tall multi-louvered fins increase surface area contact while improving flow through the core.
CNC machined brackets provide a direct bolt-on fit with no modification necessary. Each heat exchanger is individually tested to ensure no possible boost leaks or any imperfections within the system. To prevent road debris from damaging the core, CSF incorporated a mesh guard on the bottom of the heat exchanger.
