2016 BMW M3 Story
Coming from ridiculous stance cars, drift cars, even lifted trucks, I always wanted to find a balance of performance and style. I always thought very well of BMW's styling and dreamed of owning vehicles from their lineup. The F80 M3 has stood out to me forever for its wide arches, aggressive front, carbon details and much more. All of that is of upmost importance to me, but the snappy power and driveability of these cars is what truly sold me. The vehicle was purchased within a few hours of my first test drive and has been my daily driver since. From stock to full suspension build the car has always been superb in the handling department. Current suspension is setup on the MCS + Bimmerworld coilover package, Turner control arms, Megan Toe arms, all paired up to TE37SL with Advan V601 tires. Wheels are 19×9.5+21 front with 265/35R19, rears are 19×10.5+34 with 285/35R19. I am running a 20MM spacer up front at -6 camber, and a 5MM spacer in the rear at -2 camber. Still insane to me that a 285 tire with no stretch can tuck under the rear arches with ease. Overall I am very pleased with the feel and handling of the car, big thanks to Vivid for supplying many of the parts within a very timely manner! Not too sure what the future will hold for the car, have been extensively looking into tuning and completing the crankhub job, but mainly have just been enjoying the experience dailying so far.
