A New Set of Yokohoma Advan TCIII Not only Reduce Weight and Improve Performance, They Also Look Great!
The sixth generation Fairlady labeled the Z34, has come from a long line of tuner friendly Nissans. The front engine, rear drive, sports coupe was first released in 1969, which started a segment for Nissan that is still around to this day. The Z line is known for its sleek design including long overhangs and large fenders which allow for ample space for wheels, brakes, body kits and suspension components. Most people who purchase one of these vehicles have intentions of doing modifications to improve the performance and styling.
A customer of ours recently wanted to upgrade the wheels on his Z34 370Z to something that would be lighter than stock and allow for more rubber. The obvious choice for this task would be a proven high quality JDM wheel. Generally Japanese companies like Work, Rays and Advan have wheel choices that fit perfectly for this particular application. They offer different styles and configurations with the correct diameters, widths and offsets that compliment the car. This customer decided on the Advan TCIII due to its simple 5 spoke design and light weight offerings. The choice to go for an 18″ wheel rather than a 19″ allows for a lighter wheel and more tire size choices. Now that the wheels are installed, we believe the owner of this Z made the right decision.
