Well we wanted to see how these DICE iPod interfaces worked so we installed one in our Project Audi A3 and one in my personal Porsche Cayenne S. The installation is very direct. There is just alot of time in taking apart components. First for the Cayenne we had to pull out the right rear panel to access the back of the factory CD Changer to connect a wire. The head unit was simple to pop off the trim plate and then take out the head unit. Once we installed the module in the back and added the infrared cable needed for the 2004 model, we had to run the actual iPod connecting wire which is what your iPod plugs into. We wanted to run it to the center console glove box so we pulled the console all out. The entire process is about a 3 hour job if you DIY or a shop can do it in about 1 – 2 hours.
