BMW is known for producing luxury cars that shock many on the track and around the corners. With performance-tuned suspension and incredible power readily available, the E36 and E39 chassis featured technology ahead of its time. Because of this, lap times caught the eyes of many enthusiasts.
For those that race knows that one thing that can be a killer on the track is flex. Being that these vehicles are now worn out and beginning to show age the strength of the chassis can be weakened. This causes the frame to twist slightly more than brand new.

Dinan has released a rear strut brace to combat this issue. During hard cornering the strut towers flex that causes suspension dynamics to change. The new strut bar from Dinan links the two towers together which stiffens the chassis.
Constructed of brushed aluminum with carbon fiber inlays, the bar is simply installed by bolting the endplates to the top of the strut towers. The black zinc-coated endplates provide a precise fitment to eliminate modification. Everything necessary for install is included, as well as, tools to get the job done properly.
Features:
- Eliminates flex between the two shock towers
- Simply installs with the provided hardware and tools
- Estimated install time – 2 hours
- Black zinc-plated steel endplate assemblies for precise fitment and durability
- Improved chassis rigidity
