Vivid Racing’s Project GT-R has been completed. With its flat red paint job, we have nicknamed it “The Red Devil”! We shot some inside and out video of the car so you could see all the work that has been put into it. From the custom aero kit to the updated interior, performance parts, wheels & tires, and even custom carbon accessories, we pulled out all the stops.
Here is some Vivid Racing Project GT-R Trivia for you:
- The front bumper was made using a Rieger Ford Focus RS Urethane bumper which was cut up and molded into the stock piece. This created the side grills and oil cooler ducting along with the fog light holes.
- The side skirts are made from Riegers E60 M5 pieces that were molded to the OEM units for a clip in OEM fit.
- The Meisterschaft titanium muffler section weighs only 9lbs!
- The flat red paint color is actually original red from GM. The cars original color was Super Silver.
- The wing risers were built resembling the old Subaru WRX Zerosports wing risers
- The complete project took 4 months to complete.
- The cars new owner in Romania also bought Vivid Racing’s 2008 Project WRX III.
