I will have to admit that the Ferrari 458 is one of the best looking Ferrari’s that has been built in the past 15 years. The 360 Modena was a huge step up from the previous 355 and the 430 started to get real with technology, but the 458 is everything wrapped in one. Since this is my article, I have to be honest and say that if money were no object, I would get a Ferrari F40. If money were an object, I would be in a 550 Maranello as that front engine touring style is appealing. But when it comes to mid engine, the Ferrari 458 is boss. This customer of Vivid Racing Team Member, Ahmed x231, hooked his prancing horse up right. The Ferrari like all cars has that disease we call wheel gap. So it was fixed up real nice with a set of Novitec lowering springs. Novitec is the leader in Ferrari performance parts. Novitec is to Ferrari what AMG is to Mercedes. Besides lowering springs they have everything from supercharger kits, coilovers, exhausts, ecu tunes, spacers, and aerodynamic parts. Ever seen the product shot of the Novitec Bi-kompressor kit on a 599 GTB? It looks a little like heaven (peep it here). The 458 Novitec lowering springs works with the factory shock absorbers and allows you to set the ride height where you feel is best for the look you are trying to achieve. You can check out specs and pictures on the springs here. In addition to the Novitec add-on, the customer also added a set of Pur Wheels in a 21 inch front with a 22 inch rear staggard combo. Pur Wheels are like many other forged wheel brands offering a strong lightweight, custom wheel built to your vehicles specs. You can see many wheels like these on our Wheel Store here.
