Vorsteiner is well known for their high-end wheels and body kits which are mostly designed for sports cars and luxury cars. Because of this, when they announced their newest wheel would be designed for the Ford Raptor, it took us by surprise. Knowing Vorsteiner’s high-quality products, however, we were excited to see this new wheel in action. The wheel, Venom Rex 601, uses a 20×9 size and is specifically designed for the 2010 – 2018 Raptor.
For the new Venom Rex 601, Vorsteiner took a new design approach compared to other off-road wheel manufacturers. They took a European motorsports style and made it look a little bit tougher. The Venom Rex 601 is a flow forged wheel and it’s one of the light 20” wheels available for the Raptor, weighing around 28.4 lbs per wheel. The OEM cast-aluminum wheel weighs around 31.5 lbs per wheel. This means the Venom Rex 601 sheds 3 lbs of rotational mass per corner!
