Method Racing is one of the most popular brands in the off-road industry. Not just for enthusiasts with trucks, Jeeps, or UTVS, but also for desert racers who need the best wheel possibly to hold up to the beating that off-road racing gives. A few months ago, Method released their MR106 Beadlock wheel which was designed specifically to be used on Jeeps. The MR106 ended up being pretty popular, so they decided to launch a similar wheel that was available for more platforms.
This new wheel we speak of is the MR312. Upon first glance, this wheel may look identical to the MR106, but there are some key differences. This new MR312 has less of a concave look than the MR106 and the spokes don’t reach as far to the edge of the wheel, giving it a slightly smaller look. One big difference between these two wheels is the beadlock. The new MR312 is designed to be a very street friendly wheel, and as such does not use a real beadlock system, but uses a “Street-Loc” ring.
The MR312 will be available in 17” and 18” sizes with 5, 6, and 8 lug options. This helps the MR312 cover a wide variety different trucks and Jeeps. If you’ve been waiting for a more street friendly of the MR106, this is the perfect option.
