The Pursuit For Light Weight Wheels Continues With The HRE R101

HRE has created some impressive light weight forged wheels in the past, but the new R101 takes light weight wheels to a new level. These are application specific wheels that are perfectly balanced for performance on the street and track. This particular set of wheels was set up for a BMW M2 which will shed even more un-sprung weight from the performance coupe. The R101 LW is specifically designed for individual vehicle models creating the ultimate in lightweight optimization for street and track use. Every vehicle model has a different load rating and power output, so we’ve utilized this data to redesign the R101 for each model application fine-tuning each detail of the wheel to remove weight and add stiffness where possible.
