After you install bigger tires, a lift kit, and other bolt on parts to your 4Runner, you may notice the lack of lighting. Without proper lighting you can easily end up “out driving” your lights, meaning you cannot see far enough ahead to properly react to changes in the road. This is where LED light bars come into play.
Many off-roaders like to mount their LED light bars on the roof of their 4Runners, but this can create windshield glare. To avoid windshield glare, you can mount your LED light bars farther down, either in the grill or on the bumper. This is where the new Grillcraft XE-Series lighting system comes into play.
