The Trail Series has one main focus: Bead Grip. Traditionally, if you wanted to run very low tire pressures, you needed a bead lock wheel. Bead lock wheels are heavier than standard wheels and much harder to balance, and many bead lock wheels are not DOT legal. The idea of Bead Grip is to provide a strong hold on the bead of the tire without using a bead lock ring. Method does this by using small ridges, which grip the inner and outer tire beat seat, and an aggressive inner safety hump.
Aside from the Bead Grip, the MR702 is a very simple split five-spoke wheel. The inner lip is reinforced for extra strength, greatly reducing the change of wheel failure. Learn more and order your MR702 wheels here.
