When it comes to high-end performance vehicles, AMG is one of the biggest names around. The AMG GT R, specifically, is an absolute animal of a vehicle. Most people would say it’s fast enough and already looks amazing, and to that enthusiasts will reply that those points are correct, but it could be even faster and even better looking. For the AMG GT R, they have just announced their full aero package which takes an already beautiful car and turns it up to 11.
Up front are four canards which give the vehicle the extra aggressive look while enhancing the airflow and adding downforce. RENNtech’s wing lip is designed to work with the OEM wing of the AMG GT R. While the wing lip sits on top of the OEM wing, while the RENNtech endplates cover the OEM endplates and attach to the RENNtech wing lip. This side skirt kit includes 4 high-quality pre-preg carbon fiber pieces; 2 rocker panel extensions and 2 rear fascia trim pieces. The rear diffuser extensions are the companion component to the canards, side skirts and wing lip and function to decrease drag and increase downforce by improving the underbody airflow and its transition to ambient air.
