The John Cooper Works (JCW) models are even better with enhanced tuning and upgraded parts. Just like pretty much every turbocharged car, however, the factory exhaust can limit horsepower.
REMUS is has been around since 1990 and makes high-quality performance exhaust systems for everything from motorcycles to BMWs. They’ve been developing an exhaust system for the MINI JCW Clubman and Countryman that increased power without being obnoxiously loud.
These new exhaust systems are offered in a cat-back configuration. These systems use an exhaust valve that works perfectly with the factory electronics. This will keep your MINI quiet when you’re leaving for work early in the morning and loud when it’s time to drive spiritedly. You’ll also have the option to choose up to five different styles of 98mm or 102mm exhaust tips.
