As you probably know, the Audi TT RS is a very fast car. With a turbocharged 2.5L 5-cylinder engine under the hood outputting nearly 400hp, the MK3 TT RS has the performance to outrun significantly more expensive cars. Audi did a great job giving the TT RS insane amounts of performance, but they left a lot to be desired for exhaust sound.
Considering the TT RS is designed to be a small luxury car, it has a relatively quiet exhaust tone. Luckily, AWE has a solution to quiet exhaust with their new exhaust suite. For those who want the perfect balance between a loud exhaust and quiet exhaust, the AWE SwitchPath exhaust is perfect. For TT RS owners who want the loudest exhaust note possible, AWE offers their Track Edition exhaust which has no mufflers or resonators.
Both the SwitchPath and Track Edition systems are constructed with high-quality 2.5” and 3” mandrel-bent piping. The increase diameter and improved design increases power up 30hp and 7lb-ft, while also saving a massive amount of weight compared to the stock exhaust. The give the TT RS a more aggressive look, AWE includes Diamond Black 180mm RS-Style tips.
For those who want even more performance, the optional mid-pipes further improve exhaust flow and reduce weight.
