For Mercedes-Benz enthusiasts who love big-bodied two-door coupes, but also want the luxury of a convertible top, the SL550 (SL500 in the rest of the world) is the go-to car. Outputting 435 horsepower, it has the power to take on lots of powerful sports cars, but still falls short of the SL63. If you want to close the gap between SL550 and SL63, more power is a necessity.
