We all know Mercedes AMG vehicles are some of the best performance luxury vehicles ever. From the small CLA45 AMG to the massive G65 AMG, everything with an AMG badge has unparalleled performance. Thanks to Mercedes’ use of turbocharged engines in modern AMG vehicles, getting more performance from your Mercedes AMG has been pretty easy. If you want to capitalize on performance mods such an intake or exhaust, an ECU tune is the solution. With a proper ECU tune, parameters such as air/fuel ratio, ignition timing, and boost can be adjusted for your setup. With some AMG vehicles, a tune can increase power by over 100hp and 100ft-lbs.
Unfortunately, Mercedes AMG vehicles have not been particularly easy to tune in the past. The only way it could be done is by opening up the ECU and bench flashing it.
