When you think of Estonia, you might think of small villages, VW Polo’s, Renault’s, and little old ladies crossing the street. But this Northern European country on the Gulf of Finland is home to some of the most BA cars for street and rally. Virgo’s Mitsubishi EVO IX is definitely built for a purpose. This MIVEC car was ready to get its scoot and handling on so he jumped on VividRacing.com’s Mitsubishi EVO store. We equipped the car with the VR 2.3L stroker kit. To squeeze out some strong torque and horsepower, the car had a ATP GT35-82R stock mount turbo bolted in place. With a set of Deatschwerks 880cc injectors and Kelford 272 cams pumping the engine up, this thing was ready for racing. To further the engine power, we hooked him up with a Magnus Intake Manifold, Agency Power high flow fuel rail, and a Walbro fuel pump. And as we all know, with all this power, you need some handling! So Virgo went with a set of KW V3 coilovers to use on his Tarmac events.
In the end, this car made a very respectable and safe 500awhp on 93octane with much more to go! Check out the video below.
