Although the Honda FK8 Civic Type R the most powerful front-wheel-drive production car ever and has a phenomenal chassis, there is always room for improvement. Many factory components, such as the OEM exhaust, are heavy and hold the engine back. A full turbo-back exhaust is a great way to shed some weight, add some power, and add some sound to your FK8 Type R.
Invidia is the latest company to unveil their new FK8 exhaust, and unlike many companies, they are offering it with a front pipe which eliminates the area where the exhaust decreases in diameter. They construct the main part of the system from SUS304 stainless steel piping and feature mandrel bends and robotic TIG welding throughout.
Out back is a large flat-bottom muffler with three big titanium tips. This differs from their R400 exhaust which uses three small mufflers. The unique muffler shape gives this new Q300 system a great, deep, throaty exhaust note.
