As you probably know, the FRS/BRZ/GT86 is a great drivers car in stock form. It was intentionally designed to be an excellent platform for upgrades, allowing enthusiasts to increase their car’s capabilities as their driving skill grows. When it comes to how your vehicle handles, there are two major factors: the tires you are using and the suspension setup. With the rear suspension of the 86 chassis, the toe angle has a huge effect on how the car rotates and handles. Being able to dial the toe angle in and fine tune it to handle exactly how you want is paramount, but unfortunately, you are limited with the stock arms. This is where RS-R comes in with their new adjustable toe and trailing arms for the 86.
For the trailing arms, the stock unit is static at a 290mm length. The new RS-R trailing arms are adjustable from 275 to 305mm, which gives you a huge adjustment range. For the rear toe arms, the stock arms have a 255mm length. The new RS-R arms are adjustable from 240mm to 265mm, which again, is a big adjustment range. Both of these new arms give you lots of adjustability, allowing you to fine-tune how your FRS/BRZ/86 handles on and off the track.
