If you’ve ever looked at aftermarket suspension for your car then you’ve probably heard of Tein. They are one of the biggest names in the budget coilover market, and they’ve just finished developing two new coilovers. One of these new coilovers is designed for the 2009-2014 Toyota Corolla and the other is for the 2014-2015 Civic SI. Both of these coilovers are a part of Tein’s Street Basis Z lineup which combines affordability and comfort into one system.
- Steel Construction
- Twin-Tube Design
- Long Stroke
- Utilizes OEM Mounts
- Low Cost
The Street Basis Z coilovers use a strong steel construction so you won’t have to worry about them breaking or bending. They also use a twin-tube design instead of the standard mono-tube design which allows for a longer stroke with a smaller repulsive force which results in great ride quality. The best thing about the Street Basis Z coilovers is the extremely low cost. These new coilovers come in around $550 making them some of the cheapest on the market.
