The new Toyota Corolla Hatchback puts Toyota enthusiasts in an odd spot. It has the looks of a hot hatch like the GTI, Focus ST, and others, but it doesn’t quite have the performance. For some reason, Toyota omitted the option for a turbocharged engine in the Corolla. You’re not going to have an easy time making it fast in a straight line thanks to the naturally aspirated engine, but you can still make it faster in the twisties. This is where RS-R comes in with their new lowering springs.
Unlike a set of coilovers, these lowering springs are super affordable. They lower the Corolla Hatchback by nearly 2” and use slightly higher spring rates than the OEM springs. The lower center of gravity coupled with slightly less body movement from the stiffer spring will give your Corolla Hatchback a much sportier feel without destroying the ride quality.
- Front spring rate: 2.63k
- Rear spring rate: 4.29
- Drop height front: 1.75” – 2”
- Drop height rear: 1.75” – 2”
