Soul Performance spent countless hours analyzing each individual aspect of the Porsche 718 GT4 / Spyder / GTS exhaust system to determine the appropriate sizing, positioning, and flow characteristics of its own components. It utilized 3D scanning methods to create an ideal bend profile to produce a one-piece full 2.25-inch design with beautiful large-radius mandrel bends.
Each set is assembled in-house at Soul Performance’s Willow Grove, PA facility from mandrel-bent, thick wall .065″ T304L stainless steel. Back-purged TIG welding (with ARCALO Prime argon gas) guarantees proper weld penetration and longevity. Water jet cut flanges are made to ISO 9001:2015 standards with tolerances of +/- 0.003 inches for extreme precision.
Soul Performance manufactures its over axle pipes using thick gauge aluminum fixtures which act as a generous heat sink during the welding process. Not only does this prevent warping of the products themselves, but also the fixtures to ensure a perfect fit every time.
What’s more, each Competition Over Axle kit undergoes numerous quality checks and testing to ensure it adheres to stringent standards and boasts a perfect fitment. Additionally, all Soul components are backed by a Lifetime Warranty so you can use them with confidence on both the street and the track.
