About the RN-05M Wheel: The RN-05M wheel is the first of the WedsSport RN (Racing Navigate) series. It’s packed to the gills with technology to deliver the ultimate combination of aesthetics, durability, and performance. This wheel is the first wheel to feature dual AMF (flow-form technology), where the main barrel structure and the front lip are created via flow form (for 9.0J and up only), allowing for a single-piece wheel with a lip that can be lower in weight compared to wheels which have fully cast lips.
The “H” barrel shape allows for a high degree of rigidity to prevent the barrel from having any kind of flex during high load situations. Strategically placed cutouts on the barrel behind the spokes called Air Plus+ (a Weds patent) allow for increased air volume inside the tire. Furthermore, weight has been reduced in several locations through the use of ball-mill cutting and rounding off of cavities. The WedsSport logo has been CNC etched into one of the spokes for added styling. All WedsSport wheels are designed to exceed JWL/VIA standards by 20 percent and are professionally made in Japan.
