A couple weeks ago my buddy gave me a ride in his white Pantera. If you are not familar with the Pantera, here is a quick lesson… Pantera was produced by Italian car company De Tomaso from 1971 to 1991. Late in 1971, Ford began importing Panteras for the American market to be sold through its Lincoln Mercury dealers. The first 75 cars were simply European imports and are known for their “push-button” door handles and hand-built Carrozzeria Vignale bodies. A total of 1,007 Panteras reached the United States that first year. The Ford 351 V8 engine placed mid vehicle gives a roar behind your head and with that power, keeps pushing you forward. Its sleek styling and growl don’t take away from its solid feel through turns and in straights. Hitting the freeways at speeds higher then normal and taking turns like a speedway, it was an honor to ride in this vehicle. I don’t usually take blogs from this person, but in this case, this is one BADASS Pantera. Original Source – CarDomain.
