Since the car is so new, we thought we would share the basic updates done to this Porsche 991 Carrera. The 2013 3.8L DFI carrera like most cars needs 2 things… Lowered and some wheels. For this local customers 991, we added the H&R lowering springs which maintain the PASM ride function. This lowers the front of the car, 1.2inches and the rear 1.0 inches. This gives the coupe a great stance. The stock wheels already looking very nice were finished off with a gloss black powdercoat. Paint matching the center caps, the over all package looks great. Can these lowering springs be installed on a 991 Carrera 4S with PDCC?
What does this do to the existing warranty?
yes they can. will not affect the PDCC. will not affect warranty.
how many hours of labor is needed to install the springs? New alignment recommended?
Its about 5 hours on the install. Always get an alignment anytime you remove a strut from the vehicle.
