Yes this qualifies for a Project Not Ours story! This Porsche 996 C4S is getting the all new Vivid Racing Turbo Kit for the 996 Carrera. This super clean 2003 996 is speed yellow with stunning wheels in black with a yellow lip. Completely stock, this is a perfect platform to showcase what our new bolt-on turbo kit can do. Our turbo kit is a full complete unit which dominates the competitions forced air induction kits for the Porsche. Making 130 all wheel horsepower on a Mustang Dyno and 91 octane, our kit includes features that nobody else has. One unique feature is our air to air intercooler with custom carbon kevlar intake box. Our center mount turbo provides equal exhaust flow out of the headers and to the Turbosmart Wastegate which is controlled by a Turbosmart boost controller. The turbo on its own is quite impressive. Carbon kevlar Intercooler Box and Charge Pipe
This turbo upgrade is coming along nicely! We now have all 3 carbon/kevlar pieces done and the yellow is an excellent combo. We decided to leave this intercooler raw which shows off the beautiful welds.
The Precision 6062 turbocharger is hung in place and we have built this vehicle with our 200cell high flow cats.

Final assembly under way!
Here are some pics of our quad tips. Like the rest of the components, we designed it to work on a factory style ball flange to offer adjustment. Unlike fix mount flanges, you will never have an issue with install and alignment
VRTuned has really made this easy. Loaded the file, and it fired up, no hestiation, loping, or anything. Did a quick lap around the block and she idled and shifted fine. Next stop, the dyno!
Finished the dyno and the car did VERY well as expected. This 91octane file has less timing then the 93 obviously. Also it is SUPER hot here. We kept the boost at around 5.5psi. The car went from 291awhp stock to 385awhp with the Turbo kit 🙂
