Stainless Works is in the R&D process of a 2016 Chevy Camaro. They are creating long-tube headers and 2-inch primaries with their merge spikes. They are also working on developing the center part, which will feature a 3-inch X-pipe that is rounded out, unlike the factory ones that come flat. A 5×9 chambered muffler will be installed in the rear. Stainless Works is also developing a replacement valve, which will use the electronics from the car’s current system. They are also planning on doing an axle-back, and offering a whole system with headers and an exhaust. Once they complete that portion of their project, they plan to build a full catback system that bolts onto the vehicle’s factory manifolds for ease.
In the video below, Vinnie takes us through part of the Stainless Works’ process on the new 2016 Camaro. The company’s exhausts and headers are all made in the U.S. and come with a lifetime warranty.
