When it comes to how your vehicle handles, there are two major factors: the tires you are using and the suspension setup. In addition to the inverted shocks are the optional adjustable raised top mount, allowing 30mm of lowering range without losing any usable stroke. This system is also offered for compatibility with the OEM top mounts.
We know how tempting it is to give your car that slammed look by lowering your coil-overs to the max, but this can reduce suspension stroke, making it more likely that you’ll bottom out and need to use higher spring rates. AST focuses on making sure their shocks have as much usable suspension stroke as possible, which will allow you to have a very low car that still handles amazingly.
