Enkei’s champion past is what make’s their wheels excel above the rest. Enkei’s big break was becoming the official supplier for team McLaren, which went on to take home consecutive championships in 1998 and 1999. Since then they have expanded their expertise to other makes and models, and now offer one of the leading line of wheel brands in the aftermarket industry. Enkei makes all their wheels through the Enkei MAT process, which makes their wheels strong and lightweight, yeilding a smoother driving experience.
This customer contacted our sales guy Ahmed (Ahmed@vividracing.com, ext. 231) to get a more aggressive fitment for his RX8. The RX8, in general, looks great lowered with a bold statement wheel. We’ve seen with other cars we’ve fitted in the past. This customer went with the Enkei RP03’s, with an offset of 18 x 9.5 x 33mm. He’s running on 245 x 40 x 18 Bridgestone’s and lowered his ride 1″ all the way around with H&R coilovers. The coilovers are the finishing touch to give this owner the aggressive fitment he was looking for.
