Vivid Racing has its hands on a brand new 2013 Lamborghini Aventador LP-700 for modifications. If you are not familiar with what this is, you are probably living in something that costs about the same. The $400,000 supercar from Lamborghini is quite impressive. With all wheel drive, the mid engine sports car features a 6.5L V12 engine that puts out 700 ponies. The 7 speed dual clutch transmission is just 1 of the engineering masterpieces of this car. Sitting in the cockpit is like getting into a jet fighter. With the flip of the start/stop button cover, you fire up the car and a full LCD display comes up. Pulling down the infamous Lamborghini vertical door, you are ready to fly. From the outside, you will absolutely get attention as this matte black factory painted car has aggressive sharp angles and a fierce look of speed. The factory Ohlins suspension is perfect and the only thing it needs is a little more style.
So this Aventador is undergoing some treatment here at Vivid Racing. First we took off the factory black wheels and did a set of Niche Mach V 1pc forged monoblock wheels. Upgrading from the stock 19/20 inch setup, we did these tinted brushed wheels in a 20×9 and 20×13. The extremely lightweight wheels were then mounted with Pirelli tires in a 255/30/20 and a 355/25/21. Next up for the car we are adding the new Capristo Aventador valved exhaust system and touching off the exterior with a 3piece Mansory carbon fiber wing. Here is a sneak peak of it as we are documenting and filming the modifications to showcase once released. Stay tuned!
