Being in this industry, the more out of the box you are, the more attention you get. We always look to other shops, racers or even the modded daily driver for inspiration on our next project car or creative install. From there we blaze the trail for others looking to push the limit, and add their own flare, even if that isn’t in the most traditional of contexts. We love running across stuff like this. We have seen a different version of this car surface in 2009. We think we do cool things, this is pretty rad. Check out more PICTURES HERE.
If you’re interested in learning more about the original project car, Here are some details on how we built the original green monster. We got this EVO X project carin January of 2008. From there the succession of products and upgrades went a little like this…
We worked with Agency Power to help us engineer parts like the intake and intercooler. We dyno tested it after those were prototyped and installed. From there we added some Advan RS’s in gunmetal black for good contrast with the originally red EVO X. We topped those Advan’s off with a sexy set of Toyo Tires. After some aestetics adjustments, we went back to the internals and had Agency Power help us out with an exhaust. Here’s a video of the exhaust being tested. Once the exhaust was complete we added a Carbon Fiber APR Wind Splitter.
The next addition put this EVO over the top. We teamed up again with Agency Power and they got help from AFI to get the first Twin Scroll GT35R in the US.To make this turbo kit work, Agency Power is finishing development of it’s CNC machined aluminum high flow fuel rail and upgraded larger injectors. In addition, we have removed the factory fuel pump and had a direct replacement pump manufactured for us to handle the 600whp this car will produce. While controlling the boost with our Greddy Profec B2 boost controller, Vivid Racing will be tuning this car using the ECUTEK ECU flash on our Mustang All Wheel Drive Dyno. From there it was lowered on JIC Magic Coilovers, added a Test & Service body kit, and some 1 off special edition IForged wheels
It wasn’t until Toyo Tires approched us about collaborating for the upcoming SEMA show, that we decided to create the EVO Porsche GT3RS green. It was then that the green monster now resides in Lebanon!
We are happy to see this project car inspire someone else. This is this man’s version of our project car, and it turned out STELLAR! Here are picture throughout the process. Can you tell which is which?
