Well we finally got the new Vorsteiner VRT Rear Bumper installed on our Project 997TT. The rear bumper blows away the cool factor of the front bumper. I was impressed with it unpainted but painted and fitted, so hot! The rear bumper does not have the bumperettes that stick out on either side of the license plate. So the only mod to fit this like other bumpers is to either remove your bumper beam (no way) or cut off the push out pieces. We choose for number 2. This Euro Style rear bumper looks good without those big dots for sure. The carbon ducts are pretty slick. Since we have bigger intercoolers on the car, we did have to modify them a big just like you would the OEM ones. By modifying them, we really just trimmed down the base where the factory snap together part is. The bumper fit flawlessly with no mods as it slid into place. It is substantially lighter then stock and once you step back and look, the carbon diffuser and carbon intercooler ducts pop out very cool. The total installation took about 1.5 hours for us to do. Everyone that has seen the car noticed an immediately difference. It actually flows nicely with the TechArt side skirts and MAShaw GT2 rear wing.
