Vivid Racing’s Porsche 997 Turbo received another add-on to its exterior styling from Vorsteiner. Their new VRT aero kit components (schedule to be released in January 2009) was sneaked on to the VR 997TT showcasing their new front bumper. The bumper is a direct replacement for the factory unit but with much needed styling. The fiberglass bumper features a carbon fiber lower lip spoiler and carbon fiber radiator ducts. In addition, the bumper uses the signature look of the OEM hood grill for better cooling and aerodynamics. The bumper does eliminate the stock headlight washers and fog lights but is a good look. One viewer said to us, “your car looks like it is about to jump out of a chinese comic book!” In addition to the Vorsteiner bumper, we have equipped the car with the TechArt side skirts and MaShaw 997GT2 rear wing. Enjoy the pictures!

Wow..that is so so cool. I’m speechless now.
hi Dan,
I like the kit…as you know I have the factory aerokit with the black HRE’s and Bilstein PSS10 suspension.
Question on your kit…I find my front splitter is basically a consumable and it gets chipped and scraped from frikkin’ speed bumps and driveways on occasion (sometimes you can’t take every speedbump at 1mph and 45′ angle).
Is there a component of the Vorsteiner kit that can be fairly economically replaced when this type of damage occurs or is it into the spray painter for a full patch and respray job?

The lower carbon lip is seperate. I have 2 on hand incase of damage. However I find with speed bumps, drive ways, etc I dont have any issues. It looks like our cars are at the same ride height. So again, you will not have to worry about the paint or bumper, just the front lip.
sounds good to me
