The G-class, also known as the G-wagon, was originally developed as a military vehicle, and even when it came to the civilian market, it was a tough, cross country type of vehicle. Fast forward to the modern G-wagon, and it’s become more a luxury SUV. Sure, it still has all the capabilities of the G-wagons of old, but the target buyer is more interested in the luxury aspect of it, plus the AMG models offer insane performance. The G65 AMG represents the pinnacle of the G-Class, offering unparalleled performance and luxury. As gearheads, we know even the best vehicles in the world have to room for improvement, and this is where Brabus comes into play.
This G65, in particular, received a Brabus Widestar kit which widens the vehicle amongst other exterior changes. The stock hood was replaced with a Prior Design hood. You can tell from just a quick glance how different this G65 is from a stock G-Class. The Brabus kit gives it a tough, modern, and elegant look, standing out from the sea of G-wagons on the road. Keeping the G-wagon on the road are Pirelli Scorpion tires wrapped around Strasse Forged SM7T Deep concave monoblock 20×10 wheels.
Although the V12 already outputs an insane amount of power, the Brabus valved exhaust underneath adds a bit more and turns up the sound.
