Although the Toyota Tundra is a great truck, it’s not perfect. Toyota did a decent job with the OEM ECU tune, but for extreme longevity and emissions standards, they left some performance on the table. Our VR Tuned ECU flash has been massively popular for the 07 – 17 Tundra, but unfortunately, it didn’t work for 2018 models because of Toyota using a different ECU.
With the help of the HP Tuners MPVI2 OBDII system, you can now install a VR Tuned ECU on your 2018 Tundra! Just like with our 07 – 17 ECU flash, we designed the 2018 Tundra ECU flash to increase horsepower, improve fuel economy, and refine throttle response. With the ECU flash installed, you can expect a 29 horsepower and 34lb-ft increase!
Aside from the increase in power, fuel economy and throttle response. the speed limiter is raised to 150mph and your speedometer can be properly calibrated for your tire size. For those who want even more performance, an optional transmission tune will refine shift points and improve shift times.
Features:
- +29HP and +34LB-FT
- Improved throttle response
- Improved fuel economy
- Speed limiter raised to 150mph
- Works with bolt-on modifications such as an intake and exhaust
- Great for daily driving and towing
- With the HP Tuners MPVI2 device you can flash between maps at anytime

Hi.i just opened my own repair shop.was wondering the best way to get started tuning.any recomendations,or trials to lead me down the right path
Hello. Do I need a laptop to make this work on my 2015 Tundra? Or does it come w/a hand-held unit?
Thank you.
You do need a Windows based laptop to start the process. Once the files are stored on the handheld, you no longer need a laptop. See here http://www.vrtuned.com/dimsport
Sorry we missed this post! We do offer a wholesale program through http://www.vrtuned.com
